Simulates and analyses air velocity and pressure distribution around super high-rise buildings, as well as the static pressure values at outdoor air inlets and air exhaust outlets, with and without ventilation corridor under the two conditions of a lower and a high outdoor wind velocities using CFD method. The results show that the ventilation corridor has some effect on the outdoor air and exhaust systems, but its effect should not be overestimated. In the area with lower outdoor wind speed, the wind speed at high level of the building is still not very high. In this case, even without ventilation corridor, the outdoor air and exhaust systems can still works properly. In the area with high outdoor wind speed, the locations of outdoor air inlets and air exhaust outlets still needs to be carefully considered even with ventilation corridors.
